Hmm..so u have so many answers in your
mind for this question ri8?? Like for better life style, ease of things,
communication around the universe or for knowing mysteries of
universe..bla..bla..bla…!!
Hey! It’s not that I do not value above
all things!! Being an engineer I know it's value..
We all use numerous technologies in our
routine from brushing our teeth in morning to sleeping peacefully in AC room at
night. But do we really care about negative effects we are generating by these
technologies??
Can you think about our nonsensical role
in the society? “NO”??
Let me give some examples…
· Remember
the most favorite quote for environment day. Aha...”Save nature” or “save water”
,“save electricity”..we all worry about today’s condition of nature..then Why
we get happiness on any electronic up-gradation? Isn't it going to consume more
energy in any form?
· At one
end, we are shouting-“do not use plastic bags..” why? For saving environment.
But at the other end, we are making plastic roads for better transportation
and travelling..Does it make any sense?? Plastic roads even prevent the natural
rain water harvesting system.
· We are
learning since standard 3 that, we have limited set of basic important
resources. Then why we are creating more and more land fields of e-waste on
earth?
Suppose that, you are trapped on a very small land
field covered by only water. You even do not have space for putting anything.
In that case, will you dare to dig that land badly?? Obviously NO. But we are actually doing this.
Without thinking anything, we are making holes on
earth. For water, or for mines, In short, for our self oriented needs. What
will be the result?
· Currently,
a implementation of a project of “under grounded gas pipelines” is going on in
small cities. Metro cities are already using this method. But is it safe for
nature?
Our earth absorbs approximately 3% heat of sun daily.
And becomes hotter day by day. Any substance can melt into that much of heat.
–It’s a scientific research. When this is known, how can anyone prove any
pipeline material is so
safe underground? How can we imagine that it will not cause harm to any living creature?
· India
is now more educated compared to past decade. Agree?
Then why we have to put notices in the
gardens saying –“Do not harm plants” or on the open ground saying that, “Please do not
throw garbage here.” ?
· I have
one more example of our contributing role in destroying environment.
We all are eager to know universe mysteries. So what
we are doing? Throwing satellites and creating holes in ozone layer. There
is also race for that. America launched a new satellite? Why India should
remain backward? Throw another from India and make our existence noticed!! Huh!
Why we are destroying natural organization of nature?
What we are trying to do actually by these
technologies? We run for collecting coins to reach nowhere and spending
those coins just to run more efficiently. Isn't it??
Technologies help us a lot. But its
creating more disadvantages for nature.
Most of the technologies we make is
HUMAN-ORIENTED. Hardly we think about its effects on nature.
I’ll not give any advice for Saving
environment…We all are EDUCATED to understand it very well.
“SAVE” slogans doesn't do anything..we have to live
those slogans If we want our earth healthy and safe..Otherwise, be ready for
“MISSION MOON!!”
